Never invent a fact
No price we have not seen, no milligram we cannot read off the panel, no doctor, no testimonial, no study we have not opened. A blank is more useful than a plausible number.
Say not published, out loud
Eight things about this product were not published to us, including any price at all. They are listed in full rather than left as gaps in a paragraph.
Never write FDA approved
The FDA does not approve dietary supplements before they are sold. We write “made in an FDA-registered facility” and explain what a registration is.
Cite only what we read

How we researched HoneyFlush
We started with photographs of the bottle: the front, the Supplement Facts panel on the back, the directions and warnings on the side, and the brand's own marketing panels. Everything on the ingredients and supplement-facts pages is transcribed from those, including two spellings we believe are errors and have not corrected.
Then we took each ingredient with a printed amount and looked for a reference value or a trial at a comparable dose. The NIH Office of Dietary Supplements fact sheets gave us the Daily Values, the Adequate Intake for chromium and the absence of an upper limit for B12. A 2017 crossover trial in BMC Nutrition gave us the magnesium oxide comparison.
For the blend members we looked for the doses used in research, which is how we can say that no share of 635 mg reaches the amounts berberine or bacopa are studied at. That is arithmetic against published trials, not an opinion about the ingredients.
Finally we read the commercial material for what was not in it. That is where the missing price, the missing guarantee and the missing certificate came from, and it is the part of the research that changed the score most.
