HoneyFlush Advanced Formula is a dietary supplement in capsule form, 60 to a bottle. A serving is two capsules and a bottle holds 30 servings, so one bottle is one month. The brand's own panel describes it as an all-in-one supplement.

Four nutrients with printed amounts: folate 600 mcg DFE, vitamin B12 240 mcg, magnesium 250 mg and chromium 120 mcg. Then a 635 mg blend called the WMG-NVT Exclusive Blend holding eleven more ingredients, whose individual amounts are not published.

Cinnamon bark extract, ginkgo biloba leaf, bilberry fruit, bacopa monnieri at not less than 20% bacosides, green tea leaf at not less than 50% EGCG, berberine HCl, L-theanine, alpha lipoic acid, GPC choline, lutein and zeaxanthin. Eleven ingredients sharing 635 mg.

We do not know. The blend name appears on the label with no expansion, and nothing in the material we were given explains it. We would rather say that than guess.

Because the Daily Value for B12 is 2.4 mcg and this serving carries 240 mcg. The percentage is large because the reference figure is tiny. B12 is water soluble, the NIH has set no upper limit for it, and absorption falls sharply as the dose rises.

It is the cheapest and the least well absorbed of the common forms. A 2017 randomized crossover trial in BMC Nutrition found magnesium citrate more bioavailable than the oxide at the same elemental dose. If magnesium is your main reason for buying, this is not the product.

No. The capsule is BSE-free gelatin, which is an animal product. It is printed in the other ingredients line and it is easy to miss under a natural wellness headline.

It looks like one. The ingredient is alpha lipoic acid, a well known antioxidant. We transcribe the panel exactly as printed rather than silently correcting a manufacturer's label, and we flag it here.

The label reads: take 2 capsules daily (or as needed) or as directed by your health care provider. Two capsules, once a day.

We do not know, and we think it is unusually loose wording for a product carrying 10,000% of the Daily Value of B12 and 343% of chromium. We would read the serving as two capsules a day and treat anything else as a question for your health care provider.

Not specified on the label. Magnesium is often taken in the evening because some people find it settling, and the green tea extract in the blend carries a little caffeine. If you are sensitive to either, morning is the safer starting point.

The label gives no instruction. Magnesium oxide on an empty stomach is the most common cause of an upset one, so taking it with a meal is a reasonable first adjustment.

Take the next serving at your usual time and carry on. Do not double up.

No trial has tested this formula, so there is no clinical answer. In the reviews the seller supplied, four to eight weeks was the window most buyers named, and almost nobody reported anything in the first week.

Nothing on the label sets a course length. It is a daily supplement, not a course of treatment.

None are listed on the label. Two things on this panel have well known effects worth knowing: magnesium oxide is the form most likely to loosen the bowel, and berberine's reported effects in research are gastrointestinal.

No. The bottle says do not use if you are pregnant or nursing. The blend also contains berberine, and the NCCIH states berberine may be unsafe during pregnancy or breastfeeding and is likely unsafe for infants.

It can. Berberine interacts with medicines. Ginkgo is studied for effects on blood clotting, which matters with blood thinners. Magnesium can interfere with the absorption of some antibiotics if taken at the same time. Show the panel to your pharmacist.

600 mcg DFE is inside the 1,000 mcg upper limit the NIH sets for folic acid from supplements. The concern the NIH raises is that high folate can correct the anaemia of a B12 deficiency while the neurological damage continues. This product does contain B12, which reduces that concern rather than removing the reason to know about it.

Not from this bottle on its own. B12 and chromium have no upper limit, folate here is inside its limit, and magnesium at 250 mg is 60% of the Daily Value. The real risk is stacking this on top of a multivitamin without reading both panels.

Anyone pregnant or nursing. Anyone vegetarian or vegan, because the capsule is gelatin. Anyone on medication who has not spoken to their provider. Children, per the label.

Green tea leaf extract is on the panel, standardised for EGCG, and green tea naturally carries some caffeine. The amount is not published and it is inside a 635 mg blend, so it is small. If you are sensitive, morning is the better time.
